I started in the automotive business in 1990 at Capital Chrysler in Barre. I held multiple positions within the dealership, until 1998 when I purchased the store changing its name to Midstate Dodge, reflecting our location in the middle of Vermont. I am proud to have grown up in Vermont and today my family has joined me in the business with my daughter serving as our General Manager, my son assisting our service department and my granddaughter hanging around after school, trying to help. We look forward to assisting you with your transportation needs and are proud to be part of the Central Vermont community.
Jessica joined the team at Midstate in 1999 after studying nursing at Southern Vermont College in Bennington Vermont. What started out as a summer break from college turned into her first and only full-time job after four years of college. Jessica was a top performer in her first two years in used car sales, moving on to a stint as our Business Manager before taking over as our Hyundai Sales Manager in 2004. She has been a relentless advocate for Hyundai and won several awards, including having Midstate recognized as the number one dealer for customer satisfaction in her district at times. Jessica is also the lead proponent for Midstate’s participation in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk for several years. Her daughter Kaleigh was born 11/09/2011. She is growing into a beautiful young lady. Today, Jessica is taking on the role of leading the family business into the next generation.
Craig Stevens is a native Vermonter from the Newport area in the northeast kingdom. After high school, he worked for the Canadian Pacific Rail Road before joining the United States Navy. In the Navy, he served aboard the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk working flight operations around the world. Craig is a very proud father, his daughter is currently serving in the U.S. Air Force while studying pre-med at Norwich University. Craig has a long career in sales, with the last fourteen in the auto industry. On his days off he likes to spend time with his family doing anything that may come up.
Where did six years go? I now consider myself a resident of Williamstown, Vermont.
My daughter who is also my best friend has since graduated from Norwich with a degree in nursing and who is currently (proudly) serving her country in the United States Air Force.
I now have a black Labrador named Jagger that turned my house into a home.
My partner, April, has supported me for the last twelve years and we are looking forward to more years and updates in the future. Stay tuned!
Paul grew up in the Morrisville area and has worked in a couple of areas at Midstate. Paul has run the Service and Parts department for 3 years. He has over 30 years of experience working with many car lines. He keeps himself and the department members up to date in their knowledge. Paul is married and has 3 children. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, camping and biking. Paul is an active member of the Central Vermont Rotary Club and the Green Mountain Club.
Jeff lives in Orange and has been at the dealership for several years. He started in the old car wash, reconditioning used cars during his senior year in high school. After attending college, he decided to come back and worked as a mechanic in the shop for a couple of years before transitioning into a support role for our service department. Today you might run into Jeff in the service drive on a busy day, answering the phone, driving our shuttle or helping get a warranty question answered from the factory.
