Auto Warranty Set to Expire? Get Extra Peace of Mind with an Extended Service Contract from Midstate Dodge…

Is your car, truck or SUV nearing the end of its manufacturer’s warranty coverage? If you’re planning to continue driving your vehicle for some time, consider purchasing an extended service contract to cover those unforeseen and unexpected “about to happen” repairs that begin to crop up as an automobile gets older.

An extended service contract is a promise to perform, or pay for, certain repairs or services – it extends your coverage once your regular warranty – the one that comes with your vehicle when you purchase it – expires. Today’s manufacturer warranties usually expire after three or five years and tens of thousands of miles have been driven, just when repairs begin to crop up.

Midstate Dodge offers Mopar Vehicle Protection Contracts, which cover the repair at any of over 2,500 Chrysler, Dodge, Ram or Jeep dealers. These dealers have the ability to contract the repair out to another franchised dealer if in their estimation a Ford or Toyota dealer should do the repair. In addition to covering many common repairs, an extended service contract may provide additional coverage. For example, Mopar includes $1000 Trip Interruption Coverage with some of our plans, to cover the costs of a hotel and/or auto rental if your car breaks down while you’re on vacation.

Midstate Dodge is the leading dealership for Chrysler, Dodge, Ram and Jeep models in central Vermont. If you live in the Montpelier area, stop by our service department today and ask about our extended service contracts, or give us a call at (888) 253-3231. We’d be happy to provide you with an overview of our contracts and put together a plan to make sure you’ve got the coverage you need when your current vehicle warranty expires.
